Is it possible that there is a more serious matter then
taking down ISIS, according to ex-Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger, Iran can
cause a much more serious issue? Kissinger is convinced that since the boarders
of the settlement are collapsing Iran will be a great power to be reckoned
with. He says is in agreement with the rest of the world that the ISIS are a
powerful force as well, but not nearly as powerful as Iran is. Iran has the
recourses and the allies to take over most all of the Middle East, while ISIS
is a long ways away from being able to take over Middle Eastern counties. Kissinger
says, “The borders of the
settlement of 1919-'20 are essentially collapsing. That gives Iran a very
powerful level from a strategic point of view. I consider Iran a bigger problem
than ISIS. ISIS is a group of adventurers with a very aggressive ideology. But
they have to conquer more and more territory before they can became a
strategic, permanent reality. I think a conflict with ISIS — important as it is
— is more manageable than a confrontation with Iran.”(1) It does not come as a
surprise that Kissinger believes Iran will cause issues, because he was a firm believer
that Iran had a nuclear program when in reality they were not a threat.
Weather Kissinger’s view on this topic
is true or untrue it is important for people to understand that there are many
different things happening in the world and that at no point is the entire
world at peace. This news report informs the people that there is more than one
issue at hand but all issues will be handled in due course.
